This is a photo of a 17 jewel Crescent Street. Most of these come from runs listed in the 1953 Waltham Serial Number Book as "Royal". Note the milled out area where it says "Crescent St." (see second photo). It would appear that the word "Royal" has been removed. There is one run (8856601-8857000) listed in the book as 17 jewel Crescent Street, Hunting Case. We have seen 2 watches from this run and both were Appleton Tracy's.
