These are the five variations of the Riverside grade which have been observed to date. It is really a beautiful watch. It occurs in 2 variations of hunters and 3 variations of open face movements. Hunting case movements have 3 screws on the center jewel-open face movements only 2. The first variation of open face movements is from a run that the Gray Book indicates as being Appleton Tracys (7005001-6000). This run marks the first departure from the Vangaurd grade. 8 serial numbers within that run have been reported as being the Riverside grade. Note that 7005844 is marked "American Waltham Watch Co." (in the same script as the Appleton Tracys of that run) while the later movements are marked "A.W.W.Co.". The next run, 7006001-7000, is listed in the Gray Book as hunting case "Special"s. There have been ATCs and Riversides reported in that run as well. The assumption had been that Riversides from this run would be marked the same as the 7005844 until Phil Dellinger's Riverside (below) was spotted. The current resarch would suggest that there are 5 variations of Model 92 Riversides...3 open face and 2 hunting case.
